Even though he isn't familiar with the Indiana Jones story (which is definitely before his time), he enjoyed building it and playing with it afterward. The boats have a very ingenious setup where you can push something on it and it flies apart. Indiana Jones comes with his trademark hat and whip. Every character has a weapon to hold onto for pretend play. This is definitely a recommended Lego set to buy (it has boats, minifigures, bridge). This Lego set was challenging to build and in the end, the child has a toy to play with. This set stays put together even after many intense play.
